Bryan Softball Defeats Archbold, 6-0

The Bryan Golden Bears delivered a strong all-around performance, highlighted by a dominant outing from pitcher Thea Staten in a 6-0 victory.

Staten was nearly untouchable in the circle, striking out 15 batters while allowing just one hit over seven innings in the shutout.

Offensively, Bryan totaled 10 hits on the day. Josey Arnold led the charge, going a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a double and an RBI. Staten also contributed offensively, driving in two runs, while Kenzie Blevins added a key hit with two RBIs.

Amiyah Langham scored twice and added a hit, while Reese Ruffer reached base three times, scoring once and adding a hit and two walks. Karli McDade chipped in with a hit and a run, and Averyann Fisher added a hit and a stolen base.

Bryan was aggressive on the basepaths, recording multiple stolen bases, and capitalized on scoring opportunities to build a steady lead.

With a combination of timely hitting and dominant pitching, the Golden Bears secured the shutout victory in convincing fashion.
