Bryan Baseball Rallies to Beat Montpelier

It came down to the wire on Friday, as Bryan Varsity Golden Bears grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 10-9, over Montpelier Varsity Locomotives. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the seventh when Jacob Uran singled, scoring one run.
Bukowski collected two hits in three at bats in the win. Bukowski singled in the fourth inning  and singled in the third inning.
Bryan Varsity Golden Bears tied the game in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a single by Uran, a walk by Kerr, a hit by a pitch, and a ground out by Carlin.
Green earned the win for Bryan Varsity Golden Bears. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one. Carlin began the game for Bryan Varsity Golden Bears. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and eight runs (four earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out four and walking four.
Bryan Varsity Golden Bears accumulated nine hits in the game. Uran and Welling each collected multiple hits for Bryan Varsity Golden BearsBryan Varsity Golden Bears had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. Watson and Miller led the team with two walks each.
