On Thursday evening, the Bryan girls tennis team dominated the Lady Eagles from Toledo Christian 5-0. But the match wasn’t without some some tough matches for the Lady Bears.
Bryan’s trio of singles players had to fend off a tough group from Toledo Christian as Eden Owens and Emma Schlade both won in two sets at first and second singles respectively while Ashley Mays at third singles went the distance and pulled out a dramatic third set tie-break win.
The first doubles tandem of Shayla Frank and Mya Moore as well as the second doubles pair of Mya Parker and Moselle Huard each dominated their matches and did not drop a game to their opponents.
