The 7th grade football team defeated Archbold 28-8 on the road tonight to conclude their season at 7-0-1 and 7-0 in the NWOAL. Griffin Fowler found the endzone 3x’s for the Bears on long runs and Tyler Tipton connected with Ethan Longoria for a TD for the 4 Golden Bear TD’s. Longoria and William Weber received passes from Tipton for the two successful 2pt conversions. Tipton had a good night throwing and running for the Bears to help lead the offensive charge. Defensively the Bears continued to be stingy forcing 3 turnovers (INT’s by Weber and Evan Cassaubon, fumble recovery by Evan Longoria) and sacking the Archbold QB’s multiple times w/sacks by both Longorias, Harrison Six, and Cooper Vollmer. Additionally, Cade Kern, Nate Root, John Haury, and Griffin Fowler made plays for the Bears D.
