On Thursday, August 7, the Bryan girls golf team made a strong showing at the Defiance Invitational, battling through a competitive 15-team field to earn a 5th-place finish. Senior leader Josey Arnold paced the Golden Bears with a solid round of 94, good for 13th place overall. Kenzie Blevins followed with a steady 103, while Eden Alyanakian added a 109. Ana McCoy chipped in a 118 and Zoey Gillett rounded out the scoring with a 136. The Bears proved once again they can hang with some of the best in the area.
On Friday, August 8, the Bryan girls golf team swung their way to victory in a tri-match at Suburban Golf Course, topping Edgerton and North Central with a winning score of 304. Sophomore standout Kenzie Blevins led the charge, firing a 49 to claim medalist honors on the day. The Golden Bears’ balanced play and steady focus kept them ahead of the pack from start to finish.
