Bryan XC Takes on Tiffin Carnival


The Bryan cross country teams competed at Tiffin on Saturday morning.

The girls team placed 19th out of 27 teams. Nicolette Stickney was the first Bryan lady finisher with a season best time of 19:08, placing 11th. Claire Thormeier (100th), Lila Brock (110th), Lily Pittman (147th), A.J. Grant (162nd), Kassi McDade (186th), and Adelyn Hake (189th) rounded out the 7 ladies who competed in the D2 varsity race. There were 195 girls in the race.

The varsity boys team placed 4th out of 40 teams with a good amount of state ranked teams from D2, D3, and D4. Colton Sheline led the way for the boys while placing 17th. Josiah Cummins (38th), Malaki Neilson (45th), Elijah Cummins (50th), and Cael Neilson (66th), John Deitemeyer (83rd) and Khris Alspaugh (87th) rounded out the top 7. There were 276 boys in the race.

Our JV boys placed 3rd out of 28 teams in the D2/D3 open race. JV runners are listed below with places and times for those who set a personal best. 342 boys ran in the JV race.
