Bryan Boys XC Victorious at LC Extravaganxa

The cross country teams competed at the Liberty Center Extravaganza hosted by Leaders Farms.

The girls team opened up the day with a strong 9th place performance out of 24 full teams. Nicolette Stickney finished 4th in an 18:54 PR to lead the ladies’ team. Claire Thormeier placed 51st in 21:42 and Lila Brock placed 75th in 22:32. Both were personal bests for them as well. A.J. Grant (120th), Lily Pittman (145th), Adelyn Hake (181st), and Kassi McDade (199th) rounded out the seven competitors for the ladies.  There were 232 runners in the D3/D4 girls race.

The boys team won the Liberty Center Extravaganza for the first time ever since it has been hosted at Leaders Farms. They were led by John Deitemeyer in 4th, Colton Sheline in 5th, Josiah Cummins in 9th, Malaki Neilson in 12th, and Spencer Woodward placed 21st to round out the top 5 scorers for the boys. Cael Neilson placed 25th, Khris Alspaugh 27th, Nye Bradbee 30th, Elijah Cummins 37th, Leiv Keesbury 71st, Josh Sampson 86th, Jeremiah Taylor 103rd, Fred Parmer 112th, Pedro Lugo-Ojeda 125th, Zac Schafer 130th, Max Rios 132nd, Graham McCague 145th, Kyle Flanagan 210th, Nate Root 217th, Keaton Myers 226th, Korbin Sammons 237th, and Gawyn Miller 258th. There were 295 boys in the D3/D4 boys race.
