The Bryan cross country teams competed at the Columbus Grove D2 District on Saturday.
The boys team qualified to Regionals after placing 3rd as a team with a team score of 69, 4 points behind 2nd place Celina (65). Van Wert won the boys district with 50 points. Braydon Buchanan and Josiah Cummins received All-District Honors, placing 5th and 8th respectively. Elijah Cummins placed 14th, Malaki Neilson 19th, Colton Sheline 23rd, Khris Alspaugh 25th, and Nye Bradbee 26th.
The girls did not have a full team. Only 4 runners competed for the Bryan Lady Bears. Kate Thormeier finished 5th with a season best time of 18:50. Nicolette Stickney finished 8th with a time of 19:00. Both received All-District Honors. This was the 3rd year for Nicolette and 4th year for Kate. Claire Thormeier placed 32nd and Kate Moss placed 67th.
