Bryan Boys 5th, Kate Thormeier wins Coldwater Invitational!

The Bryan XC Teams competed at the Coldwater Lions Club Invitational. The boys placed 5th in a super competitive field behind 3 D2 teams ranked in the top 10 in the state along with the 2nd ranked team in D3. The Golden Bears finished in front of other state ranked teams.

The boys’ team was once again led by Braydon Buchanan in 16:43. He was followed by Elijah Cummins in 16:58, Josiah Cummins in 17:05, Colton Sheline in 17:19, and Malaki Neilson rounded out the top 5 for the boys team. Times and places are listed below.

The girls did not have enough runners for a full team due to sickness and an injury. Kate Thormeier and Nicolette Stickney both placed in the top 5 of a super competitive field of runners. Kate won the Coldwater Invite with a winning time of 19:10 while having a great close in the last 100m to win the race. Girls times and places are below.
