Bryan Baseball Falls to Coldwater

Bryan Varsity Golden Bears fell to Coldwater 5-4 on Saturday.

Carter Luce grounded out, which helped Bryan Varsity Golden Bears tie the game at one in the bottom of the third.

Bryan Varsity Golden Bears took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. Bryce Welling singled, scoring one run, to give Bryan Varsity Golden Bears the leg up, 2-1.

Cole Carlin took the loss for Bryan Varsity Golden Bears. The starting pitcher went five and one-third innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits, striking out six and walking four.

Luce drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bryan Varsity Golden Bears with two runs batted in. Tucker Miller went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Bryan Varsity Golden Bears in hits. Hunter Watson collected two hits for Bryan Varsity Golden Bears in three at bats. Bryan Varsity Golden Bears turned one double play in the game.
