
The Bryan cross country teams competed at the NWOAL championships held at Wauseon’s Homecoming Park.
The girls’ team placed 4th out of 7 full teams in the league. Nicolette Stickney led the way while finishing 3rd in a PR of 18:44 while earning 1st team All-NWOAL recognition. She was followed by Lila Brock in 26th place, Lily Pittman in 30th, A.J. Grant in 35th, Adelyn Hake in 47th, and Kassi McDade in 51st. There were 54 girls in the race.
The boys’ team was victorious for the 3rd year in a row with 8 guys earning all-league recognition – John Deitemeyer in 2nd place, Colton Sheline in 3rd, Josiah Cummins in 4th, Khris Alspaugh in 6th, Cael Neilson in 8th, Spencer Woodward in 12th, Nye Bradbee in 14th, and Josh Sampson in 19th. 1st – 7th place earned 1st team all-NWOAL, 8th – 14th place earned 2nd team all-NWOAL, and 15th – 21st place earned Honorable Mention all-NWOAL. Ethan Bailey placed 26th, Pedro Lugo-Ojeda 29th, Max Rios 34th, Leiv Keesbury 36th, Graham McCague 39th, Fred Parmer 41st, Zac Schafer 53rd, Keaton Myers 56th, Kyle Flanagan 57th, Korbin Sammons 63rd, Nathan Root 67th, Gawyn Miller 73rd, and Jesse Hand 75th. There were 85 boys in the race.
