The Bryan Lady Bears closed out NWOAL league play with a 1-0 victory over the Delta Panthers last night.
After a scoreless first half, Averann Fisher found the back of the net in the second half, scoring the game’s only goal off an assist from Piper Hanna to give Bryan the lead. The Lady Bears’ defense took care of the rest. Sidney Luce recorded the shutout in goal, keeping the Panthers off the scoreboard and helping Bryan secure the league win.
The victory marked the final league matchup of the regular season for the Lady Bears. For the season, the Lady Bears are now 6-6-1.
Bryan will return to action Saturday morning, traveling to Defiance for a 10:00 a.m. kickoff as the Lady Bears continue the final stretch of their season. Go Bears!
