
The Bryan 8th grade volleyball team battled back after dropping the first set to defeat the Evergreen Vikings in three sets, 21-25, 25-19, 25-20.
After falling in the opening set, Bryan responded with strong play in the final two sets to secure the comeback victory. Leading the Bears at the service line was Harper Smith, who recorded an impressive 14 aces to go along with 4 kills and 1 dig. Kinlee Yoder led Bryan offensively with 6 kills and added 1 dig, while Molly Ruffer contributed 2 aces, 5 kills, and 2 digs. Vera Hahn added 2 kills, and Harper Hake recorded 2 aces and 2 digs.
The Lady Bears showed determination and teamwork to close out the match in three sets. The win improves their record to 7-6.
Bryan will look to keep the momentum rolling when they travel to Archbold on Thursday to take on the Bluestreaks at 5pm.
