The Lady Bears Basketball Team hosted a 15-3 Liberty Benton team on Saturday afternoon. The Bears put together a complete four quarters to defeat a talented Eagles team 48-40. Amiyah Langham had a huge day filling in 20 points while holding Liberty Benton’s leading scorer to 5 points. Averyann Fisher added 10 points and Josey Arnold added 9. Piper Hanna pressured the Liberty Benton point guard all day. All eight kids contributed big minutes in a team win. The Bears are back in action Thursday February 5th against Swanton for Senior Night.
JV also secured the win 33-14. Emme Miller led with 9 points and excellent defense. Jozie Cordy added 8 and lots of rebounds, and Karli McDade added 6. Emaline Slagle and Gezzy Kidston added 4 a piece and Chloe Wallace chipped in 2. The JV moves to 14-6 on the season.
