The junior high volleyball team traveled to Paulding where both 7th and 8th grade fell to the Panthers. The 7th grade put up a good fight and lost in three sets: 13-25, 25-22, 9-25, while 8th grade lost in two sets: 18-25 and 14-25.
7th grade was led by Mallie Grant who had 1 ace, 1 dig, 2 kills ad 2 assists. Ady Fruchey with 2 aces and 6 digs. Laycin Rodeheaver had 3 aces. Riley Beaver and Ryann Eickhoff each had one ace. Haley Strine, Gabi Malanga, Maliyah Champada, Charlotte Johnston and Kinley Martinez all helped defensively with 10 digs collectively.
8th grade was led by Jozie Cordy with 2 aces, 5 digs, and 5 assists. Annie Kunsman had 6 kills and one block. Sidney Luce had 1 ace, 2 digs and 1 kill.
The volleyball team will travel to Swanton on Thursday, September 5th with a 5 pm start.
