The Lady Bears hosted Ottawa Hills on Saturday morning and lost by a score of 2-3. Courtney Kendrick and the doubles team of Lilly Cox/Emma Elkins each won their matches in straight sets. With the match tied up 2-2, the doubles team of Ava Lambert/Lucy Vashaw found themselves in a three-set battle. Though they ultimately came up short, they fought hard until the very end over the course of two and a half hours. There was great play on all courts and the team will look to rebound on Monday against Shelby for their next round of the OTCA team tournament. Individual scores are listed below:
