Girls Golf Finishes Third at NWOAL Championships; Arnold, Blevins Earn All-League Honors

The Bryan girls golf team turned in a strong performance at the NWOAL Championships held Tuesday at Auglaize Golf Club, finishing third overall with a team score of 366. Archbold claimed the league title with a 342, while Wauseon was runner-up at 347.

Leading the way for Bryan was senior Josey Arnold, who fired a personal-best 81 to place third individually and earn First Team All-NWOAL honors. Senior Kenzie Blevins also set a personal record with an 87, finishing eighth overall and landing on the Second Team All-NWOAL.

Claire Struble added a 97 to finish 18th and receive Honorable Mention, while Zoey Gillett shot a personal-best 101 to take 20th. Ana McCoy (109) and Eden Alayankian (110) rounded out the scoring for the Bears.

In addition to the team’s success, Coach Chad Henry was named NWOAL Co-Coach of the Year, recognizing his leadership and the continued growth of the program.

The Golden Bears now turn their attention to the postseason as they compete in the Division I Sectional Tournament next Monday at Eagle’s Landing Golf Course in Oregon, Ohio.
