Varsity Girls Basketball moved to 1-0 in NWOAL play and 10-1 overall with 60-24 victory over Wauseon on the road. Anna Gray led the way with 15 points. Ella Rau and Kailee Thiel each added 11 points. Marah Smith had 8 points and Josey Arnold contributed 7. Girls are back in action Tuesday at home against Van Wert.
JV Lady Bears also picked up a road win 39-27. Piper Hanna and Gabby Mossburg contributed 9, Amiyah Langham had 8, and Ava Zimmerman chipped in 6. JV moves to 8-3 on the year.
