Bryan Softball Defeats Wauseon 19-2

Bryan rolled to a dominant 19–2 win over Wauseon behind an explosive offense and a standout performance in the circle from Thea Staten. The Golden Bears broke the game open early, scoring in every inning, including a six-run third and an eight-run fifth. Bryan piled up 17 hits on the night and finished with 18 RBIs in a complete team effort at the plate. Several players had big nights offensively. Mylie Vollmer delivered a huge performance, going 4-for-4 (HR, 2B, 2 singles) with six RBIs while Staten helped her own cause with three hits (HR, 3B & 1 single) and three RBIs, Averyann Fisher and Amiyah Langham each added multiple hits including 1 home run each, Josey Arnold hit a home run and Reese Ruffer contributed two hits and an RBI as part of the balanced attack. In the circle, Staten allowed just one hit and no earned runs over five innings while striking out 11.

Bryan will take on Hicksville tomorrow at Field 5.
