Bryan loses to Fairview 47-7

The Golden Bears found the end zone once Friday night but came up short against Fairview in a 47–7 loss. Bryan’s lone score came in the third quarter when quarterback Jake Arnold connected with Anthony Weber on a 41-yard touchdown pass, with Carter Luce adding the extra point.

Arnold led the Bears’ offense with 67 rushing yards on 14 carries and added 86 passing yards on 6 completions. Griff Fowler chipped in with 33 yards on 5 carries, while Cade Carlin and Hunter Watson combined for 36 yards on the ground. Through the air, Weber paced the receivers with 40 yards and a touchdown, while Jacob Uran caught 3 passes for 47 yards.

On special teams, Uran handled the punting duties, averaging nearly 30 yards on 6 punts, and the return game was led by Sam Gonzalez with 55 kickoff return yards.

Bryan is on the road next week against Patrick Henry in their NWOAL opener.
