The Bryan Girls Wrestling Team competed this past weekend at the first annual Bryan Lady Bears Invitational. Wrestling in the tournament were Taylor Fulk, Mycalah Graves, Layla Oswalt, Trenitie Ream, and Marlee Yoder. The girls competed hard and fiercely. Taylor finished 0-2 for the day but learned some needed lessons on how to defend and hit some moves. Layla also finished 0-2 but had some success in her first wrestling tournament ever. Trenitie finished the day 3-2 and end up in 5th place, her off season work was evident in her wrestling. Mycalah ended up 2-1 on the day and was 2nd, this was also Mycalah’s first ever wrestling tournament. Finally, Marlee Yoder started her season off with a bang going 3-0 and earning her first tournament championship of the year. As a team the girls finished tied for 5th place. They will take the mat again on December 16th in Archbold at the Bluestreak Brawl. Wrestling starts at 10:00 am.
