The Bryan girls bowling team turned in another championship performance at the NWOAL League Tournament, capturing the tournament title and officially securing the NWOAL league championship for the third straight year.
Leading the way was Zoey Gillett, who earned top girl overall honors with an outstanding 699 series. Zoey also claimed First Team All-NWOAL, finishing the season with a league-best 203 average. She was joined on First Team All-League by Meadow Goebel, giving Bryan two first-team selections.
Bryan’s depth was on full display as Polly Sleesman and Mya Federspiel both earned Second Team All-NWOAL honors, recognizing their consistent contributions throughout the season.
This tournament also counted toward overall season standings, adding extra importance to the day, and the Lady Bears once again rose to the occasion. Their ability to compete under pressure and support one another has been a defining trait of this team all season long.
From start to finish, the Bryan girls showed grit, focus, and heart. We only had 5 active girls all season. This makes it very hard. We are extremely proud of this group for their performance today and for continuing a championship tradition within the NWOAL.
