
The Bryan Golden Bears struggled to overcome an explosive Patrick Henry offense Friday night, falling 49-7 on the road.
Bryan found its lone points midway through the third quarter when Jake Arnold hit Aaden Wallace for a 9-yard touchdown, capped by a Carter Luce extra point.
The Bears managed 86 yards of total offense, with Cade Carlin leading the ground game at 37 rushing yards. Arnold threw for 51 yards and the touchdown, while Wallace hauled in three catches for nine yards and the score. Defensively, Bryan was on the field much of the night, as Patrick Henry piled up 411 yards of offense, including 281 on the ground.
With the loss, Bryan falls to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the NWOAL. Bryan will travel to Liberty Center next week.
