Defiance’s hard-fought victory improved their record to 3-3, and they are set to face Anthony Wayne in the 2nd annual Grube Family Holiday Classic on Thursday at 7:30 pm. In a challenging game for Bryan, they managed only three points in the second and fourth quarters after initially taking an 11-10 lead through the first frame, leading to a final score of 39-28 in favor of Defiance. With this nonleague loss, Bryan’s record falls to 3-3. Additionally, the JV Dogs secured a 40-37 victory over Bryan, bringing their season record to 5-1, and they will face Anthony Wayne’s JV at 4 pm on Thursday, with Josiah Schlatter leading with 16 points and Trey Bibler contributing 10 for Defiance.
