Bryan’s track teams competed at Evergreen on Friday for the NWOAL track finals. The boys were able to move up to 2nd place overall after entering finals in 7th place while finishing 1 point ahead of Liberty Center and finishing 32 points behind NWOAL team champion Evergreen. The girls held onto the 6th place position after finals while Liberty Center won the league once again for the ladies.

Drew Hahn (2nd place in the 100m)
Donnell Bush (2nd place in the 200m)
Spencer Woodward (1st place in the 400m)
Xander Fackler (1st place in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m) . Fackler scored the maximum amount of points possible for his team as he was on Wednesday’s winning 4x800m team as well. This feat hasn’t been done for the Golden Bears in quite some time.
Braydon Buchanan (2nd place in the 3200m)
Anthony Tomaszewski (5th in the 110m hurdles and 3rd in the 300m hurdles)

Chloe Spisak (2nd in the 100m, 5th in the 200m)
Marah Smith (5th in the 800m)
Nicolette Stickney (4th in the 1600m, 3rd in the 3200m) Her time of 11:34 in the 3200m is only 3 seconds off of the school record in the 3200m.
Kate Thormeier (5th in the 1600m)
Girls 4×400 of Spisak, Zimmerman, Thiel, and Smith placed 4th with a season best 4×400 time.
Both teams will compete next at Districts at Defiance on Wednesday and Friday.
