The team made up of seniors Kai Dauber and Nolan Franzdorf, Juniors Jaydan Deel and Matt Devlin, and sophomore Asher Sito matched up against 11 other teams from the NWO area.  The Golden Bears finished the day with a team total of 344 strokes.

At the end of the 18 hole tournament play it was determined that there were 3 golfer who tied for the final 2 spots to move on to districts,  Bryan golfer Kai Dauber, Genoa golfer Colby Ralston and Central Catholic golfer Sebastian MacDonald.  A very exciting and competitive 3 hole playoff was played ultimately leading to the 2 remaining spots going to our very Kai Dauber and Genoa’s Colby Ralston.

Congratulations Kai!! Way to come through clutch in a very pressure filled situation. Kai will again take to the links in the district tournament held at Maumee Bay State Park Golf Course on Tuesday Sept 30th. This is Kai’s second year qualifying for the district tournament. He also qualified in 2024.

Individually Kai Dauber lead the way with five over par 77.  Followed by  Jaydan Deel with an 85, Nolan Franzdorf with an 89, Asher Sito with a 93 and Matthew Devlin with a 94. Team showed some flashes of great ball striking and solid putting. Congratulations to all our golfers for a really competitive season. They represented our school district and our community with great character and admirable sportsmanship.
