Bryan Varsity Golden Bears Hold Off Ayersville Varsity Pilots For Victory

Bryan Varsity Golden Bears built a 6-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Ayersville Varsity Pilots’s charge for an 8-6 victory on Friday. Ayersville Varsity Pilots closed the gap by scoring on an error, a single, and a double.

Hunter Watson collected four hits in four at bats in the win. Watson doubled in the fifth inning, doubled in the second inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Jake Arnold singled to center field, which helped Bryan Varsity Golden Bears tie the game at two in the bottom of the second.
