8th grade girls started out their NWOAL tournament with a win against the Evergreen Vikings. The score was 40-27. The girls stayed consistent with their scoring throughout all quarters and their defense was solid. Averyann Fisher was the leading scorer with 21 points. Winzeler added in 7, and Richmond, Hepker, and Wallace all contributed 4 points a piece.
The girls will play again this Thursday (2/8) at the Bryan Elementary against Patrick Henry with a start time of 5:00pm.
