Griffin Fowler found the endzone once early for the Golden Bears but the team struggled to move the ball the rest of the game. Tinora punched in a late TD to tie, but the defense held on the 2pt effort to preserve the tie score. Fowler led the way on the ground for the Bears while Ethan Longoria had the lone receptions for the team. Harrison Six did a good job snapping in the rain all night and the Bear defense played a bit of bend but don’t break getting stops when needed. The 7th grade is 5-0-1 after the tie and host Wauseon next Thursday.
