A great team effort was required for the 7th grade football team to move to 4-0 on the season by beating LC 28-20 on Thursday. The Bears built a 16-0 lead in the 1st half on TD’s by William Weber on a pass from Ethan Longoria and Leiv Keesbury (on his birthday) on a pass from Tyler Tipton. The game tightened in the 2nd half but the Bears answered scores from LC in the 3rd quarter with TD runs by Griffin Fowler. Fowler and Longoria added 2pt plays as well. The Bears D responded to the challenge of a good LC offense led by good games turned in by Weber, Evan Cassaubon, Nate Root, and Tipton amongst others. The Bears travel to Evergreen next Thursday to play the Vikings.
