Bryan’s varsity basketball team fell to 5-6 (0-1 in NWOAL) after a 69-57 loss to Delta in the league opener. Leading scorers for the Bears were Kingston Sito with 16 points, Landon Bassett with 12 points, Gavin Jaessing with 5 points, and Carter Dominique and Tucker Watson each had 4 points. Bryan will host Elida on Saturday in a 9//JV/Varsity triple header with freshman starting at 2:45pm.
The Bryan JV team won 40-25 over Delta. Bryce Welling and Alex Diaz each had 10 points, and Rhett McGill scored 9 in the win.
