Bryan edged Riverdale, 51–50, in the consolation game of the Kewpee Classic on Saturday.
The Golden Bears set the tone early, jumping out to a 14–10 lead after the first quarter and carrying a 25–19 advantage into halftime. Bryan continued to control the pace through the third quarter, extending the lead to 37–31 before Riverdale mounted a late push.
Despite the Falcons’ fourth-quarter surge, Bryan stayed composed and made the necessary plays down the stretch to secure the one-point victory.
Averyann Fisher powered the offense with a game-high 25 points, while Amiyah Langham added 7, Miley Vollmer scored 8, Josey Arnold chipped in 6, and Piper Hanna provided 5 as Bryan’s balanced scoring effort proved just enough to hold off Riverdale.
