Patrick Henry used a fast start scoring 44 first half points to pull away from Bryan in a Northwest Ohio Athletic League girls basketball matchup Thursday night, earning a 56-33 victory.
Despite the deficit, the Golden Bears continued to compete after the break, working to generate offense and gain valuable experience against a league opponent.
Averyann Fisher led Bryan in scoring with 11 points. Josey Arnold added 6 points, while Piper Hanna finished with 5. Amiyah Langham and Emme Miller each scored 3 points, Gezzy Kidston and Karli McDade contributed 2 points apiece, and Braya Hepker rounded out the scoring with 1 point.
With the loss, Bryan moves to 7-8 overall and 0-3 in NWOAL play.
PH won the JV contest, 35-17. Karli McDade led with 6 points and Gezzy Kidston added 5. JV moves to 12-3 on the season.
