The Lady Bears basketball team defeated Paulding 49-38 on Thursday night. The Lady Bears had a balanced scoring effort with Josey Arnold leading the way with 10 points. Piper Hanna and Averyann Fisher each added 10 points. Amiyah Langham added 8 points and Kelsie Thiel added 6 points. The Bears had a great effort from the bench of Gezzy Kidston, Kelsie Thiel, and Emme Miller. The Bears improve to 3-2 on the year and are back in action Monday at home against Edgerton.
The Bryan JV squad delivered a competitive and hard-fought performance leading to 28-27 victory over Paulding. Defensively, the team demonstrated real toughness. The team also forced key turnovers that led to transition opportunities. Offensively, scoring was balanced among players with Karli McDade scoring 6. Chipping in 4 points each was Breanna Richmond, Jozie Cordy, Claire Struble, Gezzy Kidston, and Braya Hepker.
