The Lady Bears basketball team defeated Bowsher 41-36 on Monday night in the first day of the Holiday Classic. Averyann Fisher led the way with 18 points and Josey Arnold added 16 to help the cause. The Bears move on the finals tomorrow night at 7:30 against Fairview. The Bears up their record to 6-4.
JV defeated Bowsher 37-19 and play Ayersville in the championship tomorrow at 4:15. Breanna Richmond led with 10 and Gezzy Kidston added 6. Bryan had 8 girls score for the Bears. JV moves to 9-1.
