Jr. High volleyball traveled to LC and both 7th and 8th grade lost in a hard fought battle to the Tigers.
7th grade lost the first set in a close set 22-25 and struggled to recover in the second set losing 11-25. Bella Alsobrooks led the team with two aces, while Alexa Sims and Bristol Dominique each contributed an ace. Jozie Cordy led the defense with 3 digs and 3 assists and Sidney Luce had 3 kills.
8th grade lost the first set 10-25, but continued to battle and lost the second set 17-25. Braya Hepker was all over the court and led the team with 5 digs, 1 kill and had the only ace for the team. The game was a defensive battle as the Lady Bears tallied 16 digs for the night.
Come support the Jr. High volleyball teams Monday night at Bryan BE- 5 pm where they host Hilltop. Pack out the stands and wear your white!
