Jr. High volleyball traveled to Defiance on Monday evening and both 7th and 8th grade lost in two sets. The 7th grade fell to the Bulldogs 13-25 and 18-25 while the 8th grade lost 7-25 and 14-25.
7th grade stat leaders were:
Jozie Cordy with 3 aces, 3 digs, 2 kills and 1 assist. Sydney Luce had 1 ace, 2 digs, and 3 kills. Annie Kunsman had 1 ace, 1 dig and 2 kills. Grace Rachel and Bristol Dominique also contributed to the defense with 4 combined digs.
8th grade stat leaders were:
Reese Ruffer had 1 ace, 2 digs and 1 assist. Addy Gracia had two aces and 1 dig. Mariyah Graves had 3 digs and 1 kill.
The two volleyball teams will be back in action tomorrow at home as they compete against Patrick Henry at 5 pm.
