On Thursday night 9/18 our JH Lady Bears took on the Wauseon Indians and both teams took home the win! Our 8th graders won in 3 sets with scores of 22-25, 25-10, 25-20. In the final set the score was 20-15 (Wauseon) and our very own Ryann Eickhoff served 10 in a row to help the Lady Bears get the win. Mallie Grant led the team in kills and assists and along with Laycin Rodeheaver also led the team with 5 aces each. Ady Fruchey led the team with her defensive passing. Our 7th grade team won in 2 sets with scores of 25-14, and 25-15. Brynn Schlachter led the team in assists, Anni Grant helped the team in serving with 4 aces. Molly Ruffer had 6 kills from the front row, and defensively Harper Smith led the team to victory with her great passes. This week the Lady Bears will take on Defiance and Fairview, with a possible game against PH.
