The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams capped off their regular season with wins Thursday night against Hicksville.
7th grade won in 2 sets 25-19, 25-10
Mallie Grant contributed 5 aces and 4 assists, Riley Bever with 3 aces, and Laycin Rodeheaver offensively with 6 kills and 3 aces.
8th grade won in 3 sets 25-14, 8-25, 25-17
Jozie Cordy had 4 kills, and 12 assist to Sidney Luce’s 5 kills, Annie Kunsman’s 4 kills, and Bella Alsobrooks’s 3 kills. Anna Slagle also contributed 3 aces.
The Lady Bears compete in their tournaments Saturday morning. The 7th grade plays Delta at Wauseon Middle School while the 8th grade plays Patrick Henry at Archbold Middle School.
