7th and 8th grade girls played Wauseon Thursday and fell short of the win in both games. 7th grade girls came out strong scoring 8 points right off the bat but were unable to hold onto the lead. The game ended in favor of Wauseon 22-16. Five girls added points to the board: Bever (2), Johnston (4), Grant (2), Champada (4), and Eickhoff (4).
8th graders lost 22-39. 5 girls also chipped in with points: Cordy (9), McDade (5), Elkins (2), Fruchey (4), Champada (2).
Both teams will hit the road on Monday as they take on Paulding.
