The Bryan 7th grade basketball team fell just short in a hard-fought game against Lima West, losing 39-37 in a back-and-forth battle. The Golden Bears put in a strong effort, with Hoyt McGill leading the scoring with 12 points, followed by Max Neff with 10 points. Hayden Warner contributed 4 points, while Harrison Spitnale and Casen Herman added 3 points each, and Zach Hess chipped in 2 points. Despite the loss, the team played with determination throughout the game.
The 8th grade basketball team beat Lima West 48-33 with a fast-paced style of play. The Bears broke through Lima West’s press early and kept control of the game. Jake Arnold led the team with 17 points, Evan Longoria added 10, Erik Dalrymple scored 8, Tyler Tipton had 4, and Luke Spitnale and Cooper Vollmer each scored 2 points.
