The Byran 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams split against Edgerton on Monday evening. The 7th grade lost 25 to 40 and the 8th grade Bears won 49 to 11.
The 7th grade were led by Casen Herman with 12 points. Other scorers were: Hoyt McGill (7), Xavier Oliphant (4), and Harrison Spitnale (2).
Tyler Tipton led the 8th grade in scoring with 14 points. Other Bears in the scoring column were Jake Arnold (9), Carson Benschoter (6), John Dietemeyer (5), Luke Spitnale (4), Evan Longoria (4), Cooper Vollmer (3), Erik Dalrymple (3), and Cooper Clark (1).
Both teams return to action on Thursday at home against Swanton for a 5:30pm start time for 8th grade and the 7th grade boys will follow.
