The Bryan 7th grade boys basketball team lost to Delta, 25-22, in a back and forth battle. Bryan held a 14-12 halftime lead but timely shooting by the Panthers helped them escape with a win. The Golden Bears were led by Loghan Decker with 8 points and Finn Hanna with 6 points. Tommy King, Noah VonDeylen, Micah Hughs, and Wes Connin each added two points in the loss.
The 8th grade took a 13 point halftime lead and scored double digits in three quarters to cruise to a 52-35 win. Hoyt McGill and Max Neff each scored in double figures as McGill led the way with 16 points, Neff with 12. Other Bears in the scoring column include: Xavier Oliphant with 7 points, Hayden Warner 6 points, Casen Herman with 4 points, Harrison Spitnale with 4 points, and Will Whewell with 3 points.
The JH Bears will host Patrick Henry on Thursday with 7th grade starting at 5pm.
