Bryan volleyball falls to Wauseon

The Bryan volleyball team closed out their regular season with a hard-fought five-set battle against Wauseon, ultimately falling by scores of 27-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-25, and 13-15. The Bears came out strong, winning the first two sets, but Wauseon rallied to claim the final three in a tightly contested match.

Gezzy Kidston led the way with 10 kills, 14 digs, and 4 aces, showcasing her all-around impact. Alea Shilling added 8 kills and 12 digs, while Kelsie Thiel contributed 6 kills and 4 blocks at the net. Setter Jozie Cordy ran the offense, dishing out 37 assists and adding 2 blocks. Clare Stever chipped in 3 aces and 8 digs.

Bryan JV volleyball lost to Wauseon 22-25 and 7-25.

Despite the tough loss, the Bears showed resilience and teamwork throughout the match as they now turn their attention to postseason play with confidence and determination. They will match up with Wauseon again, Thursday, October 16th, at Lima Bath at 6 pm for the OHSAA sectional volleyball tournament.
