Bryan battled hard Friday night but came up short against Wayne Trace, 48–35. Tucker Watson led the Golden Bears with 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Jake Arnold added 8 points and 4 boards. Rhett McGill turned in a strong effort inside with 6 points and 6 rebounds, and Tucker Miller contributed 5 points and 4 rebounds to the effort.
In the JV contest, Bryan came away with a 44–32 victory. Asher Sito paced the team with 14 points and Tyler Tipton followed closely with 12 points, helping the Golden Bears secure the win.
On Saturday night, Bryan hosted Hicksville and came away with a 57-30 win. Bryan put together a strong all-around performance, building a 20–8 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 34–14 by halftime. Tucker Watson led all scorers with 12 points in a balanced attack by the Bears. Jake Arnold and Rhett McGill each had 11 points, Tucker Miller scored 6 points and Bryce Welling and Jack Kennedy each had 5.
The Bryan JV team was also victorious with a 45-29 victory. Tyler Tipton scored 16 points and Cooper Vollmer added 9.
The varsity team is 2-2 on the season and the JV’s are 3-1. They’ll host Stryker on December 11 and travel to Defiance on December 13.
