Mackenzie Blevins led the Bears offense going 2-3 and knocking in four runs. Also with two hits each were Averyann Fisher, Thea Staten and Reese Ruffer. Staten also hit a centerfield home run in the sixth.
In the circle, Staten rang up 15 strikeouts and gave up one hit in the seventh. The Bears’ record is now 8-2.
