The Bryan Golden Bears delivered a complete performance on both sides of the ball, defeating Napoleon 9-0 behind a powerful offensive showing and a dominant outing on the mound.
Bryan’s lineup was relentless at the plate, collecting 17 hits and scoring nine runs. Amiyah Langham went 2-for-5 with a home run, double, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Thea Staten also had a big day offensively, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run, double, and three RBIs. Josey Arnold added three hits, while Jozie Cordy drove in three runs and contributed a stolen base.
On the mound, Staten threw a complete-game no-hitter, striking out 19 batters over seven innings.
Bryan’s all-around effort moves their record to 4-0. The Bears will play at Perrysburg on Thursday.
