All seven Bryan players put in a solid effort on the first day of Sectionals as the Lady Bears advance two doubles teams to Sectional Finals on Saturday.

Kateelan Nagel – won opening round 6-1, 6-0 over Archbold. Lost 6-0, 6-2 to Toledo Central Catholic in second round.
Emma Shininger – won 6-0, 6-0 over Scott in first round. Won 6-0, 6-0 over Ottawa Hills in second round. Lost 6-1, 6-2 to #4 seed from Maumee Valley in quarterfinals.
Taylor Peel – won 6-3, 6-1 over Maumee Valley in first round. Won 6-0, 6-0 over Rossford in second round. Lost 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 to #2 seed from Napoleon in quarterfinals.
Reese Grothaus/Caitlyn DeWitt (#1 seed) – won 6-0, 6-0 over Maumeee in first round. Won 6-0, 6-0 over Rossford in second round. Won 6-0, 6-0 over Maumee Valley in quarterfinals.
Molly Hess/Hannah Andrews (#3 seed) – first round bye. Won 6-2, 6-1 over Wauseon in second round. Won 7-5, 6-2 over Maumee Valley in quarterfinals.
