Bryan JV Wrestlers Gain Valuable Experience at Tournament

Bryan welcomed teams to town on Saturday, December 27, hosting a JV wrestling tournament that gave several young Bears valuable mat time in a round-robin format.

Bryan had three wrestlers in action on the day. Jacob Thompson battled through a tough slate of matches, finishing 1–4 while gaining important experience against multiple opponents. Saybein Brown posted a 1–2 record, with his victory coming by way of pin, showcasing his ability to finish matches. Jeremiah Hayes also went 1–2 on the day, earning his win with a pin as well.

Because of the round-robin format, overall placement was determined by total results within each weight class. Hayes tied for second place in his bracket, while Brown finished third in his weight class, rounding out a solid day of competition for the Bryan JV wrestlers.
