Archbold got on the board in the top of the first inning after Forward doubled, scoring two runs, and Garcia singled, scoring one run.
A triple by Gericke, and a tag up by Gericke helped Archbold extend their early lead in the second.
Krieger earned the win for Archbold. The pitcher surrendered four hits and three runs over six innings, striking out eight and walking six. Easton Kerr pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears. The pitcher gave up zero hits and one run while, striking out four and walking two. Quinn Green took the loss for Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears. The hurler went three and one-third innings, giving up seven runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking four.
Cole Carlin and Bryce Welling were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears. Welling provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Anthony Weber led Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game.
